"CATIA V5 Ghost Link problem During LH to RH CNC Programming".

Catia V5 is parametric and uses the naming conventions as the link as all catia users know. The ghost link problem usually comes into picture while creating the programs from LH to RH. Here is a solutions where we can eliminate the ghost link between the CATProcess Copied from Previous programmed Process LH Programs.

Best Method for LH to RH NC Programming in Catia V5

1)      Copy LH Program Folder to the different location may be to your Desktop.

2)      Open CATProcess From copied LH Program folder.

3)      Now using save management save as your CATProcess renaming as RH name conventions.

4)      Use propagate Directory to save as (rename to RH Names) the entire files related to RH CATProcess.

5)      Save all files to desired destination.

6)      Close your Catia CATProcess.

7)      Delete the LH Program folder from desktop.

8)      Open your RH CATProcess.

9)      Check for the Links Going to FILEà Save Management. All the files should read from RH program Folder and there should be no Ghost links linking to LH program Folder.
